This year, to coincide with the Annual Conference, we are offering all the writers to participate in our writing competition. We are asking for a Short Story: up to 2500 words.

 

The theme is 'Place and Belonging'. Winners will be announced at the 2026 State Conference Dinner on     19 September in Port Macquarie and notified by email.

• You don't have to be a member of a Family History Society to enter.

• ​There is a limit of 3 entries per person and an entry feeof $10 per entry.

• ​All entries must be paid for and accompanied by a completed entry form.

First Prize - $200

Second Prize - $100

Third Prize - 1 Year membership to PMDFHS including Footsteps journal
